My Travel Story

Hi guys! An introduction; my name is Brenna, and I'm a seventh grader in San Diego, California. Although my first language is English, I'm trilingual and speak English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. In the past, I have traveled to both China and New York on self-funded trips, and I'm hoping to be able to see more places and cultures as I grow. I want to do this because when I grow up, I want to work in humanitarian aid and travel the world. I want to help other people and live a meaningful life. This fundraiser here is for me to go to Costa Rica with school next summer. I'd be able to practice my Spanish language skills and also volunteer in orphanages in rural areas. I'm so excited! The trip is going to cost $2500, and I need to raise all the money myself. I will mostly be doing so through collecting recycling, but I need the help of donors like you to get me there! So donate!
