Study Abroad Trip to Italy
I'll be graduating from Southern Oregon University this spring. I'm studying Criminal Justice and Conflict Resolution. I'm currently enrolled in a class that studies crime and violence in Italy. The professors have organized a trip to Italy that will be taking place over spring break. On this trip we will be spending 10 days traveling around Milan, Turin, Florence and Rome!
This trip is an amazing opportunity and I feel so blessed to be able to go! I've always had a passion for traveling. These 10 days will be my first trip abroad, a long-awaited adventure. I am looking at the trip as an incredible learning opportunity and as a treat for the hard work I've put into school the past four years.
Ultimately, I wanted to share this exciting news for two reasons.
The first being that we will have ample free time and I would love suggestions for sites/food/activities within the cities or surrounding areas! The second is that although I have paid for much of the trip, donations in lieu of Christmas/birthday/graduation presents would be a welcomed relief. And also I suppose because I'M SO THRILLED! I get giddy looking at my sparkly new passport. It's unreal knowing that in a few short months I will be able to see some of the sights and art I have only been able to dream about until this point.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! If you have any recommendations or advice I would love to talk with you! If you have the means and/or desire to donate to my trip it would mean the world to me as well.
