Teaching to help indigenous people!
My Travel Story
I would like to help them to know that they can standing out commercializing their handicrafts; as well as develop educational skills without losing the cultural roots that characterize them. Make known the wonderful crafts giving them the opportunity to have a better quality of life without leaving their cultural environment. The indigenous peoples have tried to sell their handicrafts to tourists at very low cost, all this because tourism and culture in Mexico do not value the time spent on each of the products made by indigenous hands, making these people receive only what the people want to pay.
The main indigenous towns to whom this project is directed are San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. These are the communities with the lowest index of development and the lowest quality of life in the state of Chiapas.
My proposal is to help indigenous peoples to develop stable economic models so that they can promote their products nationally and internationally without devaluing their efforts.
Another objective is to raise awareness of the human rights, equality and development of indigenous peoples and the importance they have for the world.
From the bottom of my heart I know that we all have the right to have a better life and to develop our skills without losing our roots.
Maybe it's a lot or a little but I know that starting now will make a difference for tomorrow.
