I have always wanted to study abroad, but was never able to afford it or get enough financial support in doing so. Take a glimpse of my journey, and please consider donating to my travels. Throughout my time as an undergraduate student in the Public Health program, I have strived to develop qualities that would strengthen my qualifications for a study abroad program in Ecuador. In Ecuador, I would be helping young school children and communities in need. This is a part of community service that I'm most passionate about. In all of my years as an undergraduate, I have been a hard working student. I have managed to maintain a good GPA while also working a part-time job and staying involved in my community. My time as a working student has taught me the time management skills which will be essential in working in a different country. My experiences have also granted me a passion for community service, speech and language. I plan to pursue a career as a speech pathologist where I will be working with people from many different cultures and language barriers. Thank you for your time and consideration.
