Ghana’s electricity market for instance is experiencing one of its own deepest crises of all time. More than a decade to date, the sector have suffered serious instabilities in the generation of electric power. One of numerous approaches to solve the challange is the SNEP Broad Objective Five (Accelerate the development and utilization of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies so as to achieve 10 percent penetration of national electricity and petroleum demand mix respectively by 2020). It is common to realise more specifically other developing countries facing similar problem.

As a fresh graduate in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering. I believe energy is one the world most essential commodities that will forever be in demand till the end. Renewable energy can effectively promote poverty reduction and sustainable development in it long term perspective. Thus, it is only passion that drives me into the sector.

As part of my strategy to acquire basic working experience and establish industrial networks, I have decided to join various volunteering and internship programs relating to energy and sustainable development at both local and international levels. More notably, Germany, USA and the UK are destinations I believed I can gain maximum intership exposure.
