My Travel Story
Recently I just have been accepted into a program called CIEE. This is a program that offers a study abroad program over the summer. The program I chose was studying the Italian language and culture in Italy for a month. This is an incredible opportunity for me because I want to expand my knowledge of learning a new language and a new culture. So I decided to sign up for CIEE to study Italian. Studying Italian will be an amazing learning opportunity for me because not only will I get to understand the language better when I am surrounded by people who speak Italian, I will also be influenced by the culture and the history of Italy. I have always been interested in learning a new language and culture because I think it is a better way of understanding people from all parts of the world and their perspective in how they live. It can also give me another way to interact with people more. I was able to get a scholarship that was able to cover most of the program cost, but I still have to pay the remaining amount, which is $1,260 and the amount is due by February 21,2017. I also have to pay for the airfare to go to Italy myself. Unfortunately I am unable to pay that amount myself. I decided to create a gofundme page that would help me fundraise the money I need in order to go to Italy. So I'm asking if you would please help donate and give me the opportunity to go study Italian in Italy for the summer.
