My Travel Story

My name is Daniela, i'm a 16 year old high school student.

I live in Colombia, and even though my country is beautiful and i feel pround of being colombian, education here is sadly mediocre, wages are extremely low(minimun wage here is less than 300 USD) and it's extremely dangerous.

My dream is to be a children pegadogist, specializing in special education, as kids with both physical and cognitive dissabilities almost can't have a quality education here, but being a teacher is not a well apreciated work here, not all universities have an early childhood education degree and most that have it, aren't specialized in it.

I find education as the most important key to make a society better; if we don't educate our children, it's almost  impossible to expect a good future.  We, of course don't only need children educated in basic assignatures such as maths and language, but learn about themselves, other people, their enviroment and things that make them happy(like arts or sports), to create capable humans that can build a better future.

I want to study early childhood education in LaSalle college in Montreal, Canada, as it's a safe and happier country than Colombia is, people there seem to be nice and sociaty integrates a great variery of cultures that can help me grow as a person.

My parents don't have enough money to pay my studies, and even if we have time, a bit of help would be extremely nice and well appreciated.

thanks to everyone, this poject is extremely important for me
