Welcome to my South African Excursion page! I am Shauneen O'Neill, a current pre-veterinary student at the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in Exotic Veterinary Medicine. It is my goal to be able to experience working with all kinds of animals, especially big cats, in order to figure out what direction I should take in the light of veterinary medicine. This path is not an easy one, both mentally and financially, as education is so expensive. For this reason, I ask for the help of my family, friends, and community to assist me in this journey. With wildlife numbers dropping eradically, it is my mission to be a part of the reversal of the drastic decline. Help me help wildlife by getting me to South Africa to learn what I need to in order to make a difference.
