My Travel Story

It’s been a long journey to where I’m close to the dream of National University of Singapore (NUS) as much as away from it. I learned on April 12 that I’m accepted to Finance MSc at National University of Singapore Business School. However, this picture is shadowed by tuition fees: about 40,000 SGD.

I graduated from Economics & Industrial Engineering (Double Major), Business Administration (Minor) (full-merit scholarship) with GPA 3.50 at Koc University, one of the pioneering Turkish universities with high level of research studies.

Behind all these was my passion of learning, the greatest inheritance of my family. By combining gains from different disciplines with the help of double major program at Koc University, I choose that my specilization area will be green investment, financing green funds and the implementation of Blockchain on environmental issues.

When I took the first step towards my dream of academia, I faced the reality of scholarships. Due to not being offered any scholarship, I decided to strengthen my profile and apply again next year. Despite working day and night, I wasn’t awarded a scholarship for the second time either.

For this aim, I feel that the contributions by NUS would be a turning point in my life by gaining Asian FinTech know-how. With your donations, I ask you to help me get to this turning point and invite you to become partners in my dreams and ideals.
