My Travel Story

I come from a family of natural born travelers, culture appreciators and lifelong learners, so I knew that once I got into college that studying abroad was on the to-do list. It was not until I joined Alpha Chi Omega that I was introduced to Semester at Sea and the opportunity to spend an entire semester at sea, taking full credit, transferable courses and traveling the world as a college student. After a lot of thought, a couple advising meetings and presenting a PowerPoint to my parents, I applied and was accepted for the Fall 2018 voyage. This phenomenal journey will not only be immensely beneficial towards my academic career and education, but also my personal growth, cultural awareness and build a deeper connection to this beautiful, incredible world we live on.
