Earlier this year I was contacted by a press company based in Seoul, South Korea and little did I know it would completely change my life. The company asked if I would be a freelance photographer for kpop concerts and conventions that happened in the United States and I happily said yes. By taking this opportunity I have been blessed to meet so many amazing people and learn SO MUCH about korean culture. I have without a doubt fallen in love with the language and people of South Korea and it is my goal to study abroad at a University while continuously showcasing the magic that happens when two cultures come together through my Photography. The interaction between fans and kpop entertainers is absolutly amazing. Even though there is a language barrier, two cultures are able to come together  through music and I never get tired of capturing those moments. I went from being someone who never thought about leaving my home city to someone who wants to travel, learn, and spread as much korean culture around the world as I possibly can. I am now a strong believer in students studying abroad and I hope my dream can come true with your help! All of the funds will go towards my tuition, books, flight, and accomodation. My goal is to study at Konkuk University for 18 months where I will then graduate with fluency in Korean. All while interning, working, and freelancing with companies to help spread my own culture in Koera and korean culture throughout the world.
