My Travel Story

For a majority of my life I have always felt compelled to help others. My first area of interest was working with children in the surrounding communities. Most of my work was based around education and tutoring younger kids. This summer I want to expand my volunteer work to include not only children but the envrionment. In our day and age it has become quite clear that we are not treating our environment the way we should be. I feel that it is my duty to do my part and help save a small portion of our incredible world. While doing this work I also hope to explore the world around me and expand my horizons. I am hopeful that if I do attend this trip that I will take away something meaningful and grow as a person.
