My Travel Story

Thank you for your support. I am excited to share with you that I have been accepted into the LRTT-Limited Resource Teacher Training program in Tanzania, Africa. This initiative is set up for teacher leaders to partner with teachers in third world countries to offer formal training, guidance, and support.

Education and guiding students to greatness has been my focus for the past decade. It is my belief that “Every Mind Matters” and while all individuals do not learn the same; learning is possible. I am very dedicated to watching students and educators thrive. In 2006, I was fortunate to visit the Tanzanian Embassy to meet with the Ambassadors and learn of the country; since I have the desire to meet the people.

Through my summer fellowship  with LRTT, I will be able to share my gifts as an educator to work with the local teachers through a series of training and demonstrations.  This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m excited to know where I will be going and the work I will be doing at the schools to better serve the children of Tanzania.

Please support me in my endeavor to share my gift of educational leadership abroad. Funds will cover the cost of the trip such as: Fellowship cost, flight, immunizations, and additional related travel expenses.
