My Travel Story

Having had a close female friend, lose out on her education, due to early and unplanned pregnancy, I have taken it upon myself, to advocate and seek redress as well as promote girlchild education in Abofour ( A semi-urban area, in the Offinso Municipality of the Ashanti Region of Ghana). With little knowledge of how much it would cost to sponsor a child through school, I took on the challenge to embark on a journey, I never intended to turn my back on. It's been my dream to aid be the bridge of motivation, linking girls who have but little hope in their future, vis a vis education, when shaken by circumstances of life. I believe, there are many feminine youngsters out there, who would asking want to mentor and reach out to, inspire and urge on these girls. Having but very little exposure, countrywide, I would want to use the 19th World Festival for Youth and Students, Sochi, Russia, as a platform to create a network or chain and join like-minded youth to cause a global change. I love art, culture and music- tools I believe, have great effect on humanity and can propel change. Thus, my participation in the event, would also give me a sound idea of how other cultures and people approach or realize solutions to issues in their own special ways. While sharing my culture, I hope to aslo tap into other cultures and way of lives of co-participants via questions and active participation.
