My Travel Story

For me this is the adventure of a lifetime! Not only do I get to be part of something special but I get to get up close and personal with my favorite animals - elephants!!
There are so many of these beautiful animals who need to be rescued from people who abuse them for their own self gain. Globalteer are doing an incredible job of doing everything they can so these mighty beasts can be elephants again! Reading their website opened my eyes to how amazing it would be to get the opportunity to participate and was overjoyed when I received my acceptance email.
I chose this destination because I wanted to experience their culture and lifestyle.
Elephants have always been my favorite animal, I guess because they are human like. They are protective of their family, loyal but most of all very emotional animals who need our help.
