My Travel Story

by: Julianne Torielli Start Date: Aug 17, 2019 - End Date: Oct 9, 2019
Hello, everyone. First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read and consider my campaign. I hope I have chosen the correct platform to ask for help.

My name is Juli and I am asking for help to raise money for plane tickets for me and my children to travel home for my sister's wedding in October this year. I relocated myself and my family from Ohio to California in October 2018, so the price tag to fly home is a little hefty. Soon it will be one year since I have seen my immediate family and many more years since I have seen extended family, who will be present at the wedding.

I am a single parent to three beautiful boys who I have been raising on my own full time. My budget is unfortunately very tight as I am the sole financial provider and caretaker for my children. I appreciate any donation for us to have the chance to fly home and see our family, both immediate and extended.

To help explain the amount I am asking help for, I've included a screenshot of ticket prices as they stand right now. I chose the "upgrade to main cabin" option so I would have the ability to choose seats so my children and I won't have any issues sitting together. I also added $70 to cover baggage fees and then an additional amount for miscellaneous travel expenses such as food and gas.

Once again, thank you for your consideration.

  • Tickets Purchased On A Payment Plan

Thank you so much to those who have donated and shared my personal cause. I was able to purchase very cheap tickets at $844.32 on a 3-month payment plan. So I have my tickets home! But I'd like to continue asking for help since this campaign has only raised enough to cover about 2/3 of the travel costs.

Please continue to share and thank you again. I am so appreciative!
