My Travel Story

I will be travelling for hopefully 2 weeks to the UK! This past summer I worked at a Girl Scout resident camp and met some amazing people from around the world and learned about who I am as a person. This trip will be another experience to help me grow and develop as a person. I want to teach which is why I went to camp, so I could gain experience working with kids and I absolutely loved it! My focus for teaching is History! I want to travel so I can learn some history first-hand instead of theoufh a text book. My friends in the UK have offered me a place to stay all over England, Wales, and Scotland, as well as in France. The goal is to be able to also visit Ireland on a weekend trip! I hope that while on thia trip I will gain a great amount of knowlege about European history that I can use later while teaching. Also, on this trip I hope to learn more about who I am as a person! I want to be able to travel and get to experience as many things as possible so I can share those experiences with others and encourage them to go out and have similar experiences that help them learn who they really are! Getting the opportunity to travel like this qould open up 1 million doors for me and I cannot wait to go!
