My Travel Story

by: Nidhi Bradford Start Date: Dec 20, 2017 - End Date: Mar 5, 2018
As a part of our senior project required to graduate from high school, we will be traveling to Costa Rica for two weeks. During that time we will be located on the Caribbean Cost, volunteering at La Tortuga Feliz. The outreach program, La Tortuga Feliz, is a turtle conservation program that involves volunteers to help with turtle nesting, hatching and safety. Although this trip will not make a difference in our commnity, it will impact the people living near the program. Without volunteers, this organization would have no way of protecting their sea turtles. This conservation program ensures that sea turtle populations thrive. We are passionate about this project, becasue of the extensive research we have done on Sea Turtles and how they affect the oceans and the earth.
