My Travel Story

I might just be over-ambitious, but I'm a second-year student (soon to be a Junior) determined to allocate money that will go towards my study abroad fund.

This year I involuntarily immersed myself in several sub-cultures, and became close friends with people of different ethnic backgrounds. Each person I met told me that they came to the United States to find work, refine their English speaking skills, temporarily escape terrorism, or just make a quick stop along their journey of traveling the world and seeing what's out there. 
I've become inspired by their stories and fascinated by their findings and ways of assimilating or rejecting [what I am going to call] the Californian-American Life-Style. 
Through FundMyTravel I hope I can get anything to kick-start my savings account. By the time I graduate -- and after a year-long hiatus from school -- I hope to get accepted into the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and do 2 years worth of research, internship, and educational experience all with the end goal of earning a MA.
