In the years of my educational journey, I believe that the most important and genuine key lesson that I have learned, is to retreat from what’s comfortable. This, has allowed me to accept challenges I thought I’d never achieve. As I finish up being a full time student at Cal State Northridge, I begin another chapter. What I care to bring back is not a memento, but knowledge and skills that I can apply to further growth and share with others. I want to teach or volunteer for an outreach program for women techies who aspire to be more than just the status quo. This Entrepreneurship and technology internship in Dublin would allow me to kick in this very significant experience to my personal ideas, and others who have also never had to opportunity to visit extraordinary places like Dublin. In my community of underrepresented Latino students, I see myself teaching workshops and integrating programs in local middle and high schools where students are taught to code. This is a type of project I would dive right into. To those reviewing my statement, thank you. Thank you for allowing me to share a brief description of my story, as I hope it is only the beginning.
