My Travel Story

KCON is a 3 day Korean culture appreciation concert series with panels and booths. Korean beauty icons will be there, chefs, news outlets, artists, and of course all of the biggest singers and dancers from the country. It’s like swan diving into the culture without having to leave my home country.  I have always loved Korean culture and I’m in the process of teaching myself the language. Being able to go to KCON isn’t just fun and games though. I have the chance to gain people and business skills by interviewing people and vlogging on my Korean-English fan account on Facebook and Instagram (Multifandom Madness). Going on this trip would mean the world to me. If I don’t raise enough money for this, then whatever money I do raise will be put towards my passport, but I would rather go to Kcon. I want to help change the stigma around international music for mainstream society. I want to turn my passion for Kpop and Korean culture into a business and I feel like this is the best way to do it. Please please please try to help me in whatever way you can. Make music not war.

  • Extending Date And Lowering Goal

    Extending date and lowering goal
    I’m extending the date because I know when the tickets go on sale now and I still need more help getting the amount of money that I need. I also lowered my goal amount because I realized I don’t *have to* see the concert. This year KCon is doing something new and broadcasting the concerts on one of the sponsoring korean channels. And at least this way with the artist engagement packs I can still have a chance to see my favorite artists up close. Thank you to everyone who’s donated so far and those who are planning on donating. I look forward to showing you guys what I can do with those donations.

  • Extending Fundraiser End Date

    According to fundmytravel I have a week left. I haven’t even made half of what I need for this to be finished so I’m extending the fundraiser end date! I’ve also started down a few different avenues to make more money, but none of them are catching any traction yet so for right now this is my main way to raise money. I need your help you guys. Pleeeeeeease don’t give up on me or my adventures!
