My name is Lebohang Booi, I am an undergraduate student at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. I am one of 35 students worldwide who has been awarded the opportunity to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School hosted in Shanghai, Asia.
The theme of GESS 2018 is: Finding solutions to the challenges of consumption in the world. As a student majoring in Geography and Politics, I am very passionate about this topic because we will be providing solutions that will be building society and contributing to its growth.
Furthermore, this will benefit my education, as I am currently on a path that is seeking to better society and social development.
Overall, any funding will be appreciated towards my travel expenses i.e flights to and from Shanghai.
