"Our vision is for a world in which all teachers are empowered to unlock the potential of every child." - LRTT (www.lrtt.org)

According to statistics, 190 million children around the world cannot read or write. The underlying problem is under-funded training for teachers globally and teaching as a profession is undervalued by societies. We as a team aim to deliver face-to-face teacher development programs and start a global movement of well-trained, effective and empowered teachers.

I will be joining a team of Fellows this August 2019 for a trip to Kathmandu, Nepal. For 25 days, we will be working very closely with teachers in Kathmandu to ensure they have everything they need to provide for the children so that they can achieve their fullest potential, no matter what background they come from.

As this is a volunteering experience, I would appreciate any help with funding my journey! I will be updating daily (my motivations, experiences, events) on my instagram account @noellefornepal so watch that space for any updates :) - it's a little bare at the moment but it'll have regular updates as we get closer to August!

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me x
