Hi, I'm Tyler, a high school student with an interest in the medical field. I recently found GapMedics and realized by participating in one of their programs it will all me to increase my knowledge in the medical field and add to my experience as well. I aspire to become a doctor some day and being a part of this program will hopefully make me stand out from the crowd when applying to medical schools. For years now I have dreamed of being apart of the medical field and being able to help those in the community even if it was something as simple as ridding them of a cold. I chose the Dominican Republic for my destination because I have always wanted to go to the Carribean and its close to home if I ever need some help from the family. It would mean so much to be able to raise enough to go on this journey because it would give me a better understanding of what I aspire to get myself into as an adult and hopefully make schools more eager to accept me as their student  because I would already have a form of insight of the study.
