Hi guys !

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. As all our close family and friends will know we have recently completed our MSc Psychology degree! (yayyy!!) However, we have noticed since finishing that the world of Psychology and Mental Health is a tough cookie to crack, and therefore we have decided to go out and gain more experience and set ourselves a brand new challenge!

We have both (amazingly) been accepted on to a Mental Health Placement in Bali. SLV Global offers graduates like us the opportunity to put our degrees to use, whilst giving us valuable exeprience in countries in need of mental health and educational support. The hope is that we can have a positive influence in Bali whilst also expanding on our career opportunities back home. 

So...What will we be doing?

Apart from getting burnt (in Alice's case) and super tanned, we will be:
  • Supporting those who have psychiatric conditions within a clinical setting.
  • Teaching english for development within the local community.
  • Supporting children's emotional and educational development.
  • Working with those who have special needs, in order to unlock their creative potential.
  • Creating and running community outreach programmes.

Unfortunately, post-masters we are both financially stretched. We are hoping to fundraise our way to Bali, and this is where you guys come in. Your generous donations are what we rely on to help us on our way!

We have decided to fundraise together so the money we make will be split evenly between the two of us (because sharing is caring.)
