I've planned a 6 month trip across Europe 3 years ago. With my future career in mind. You see, ever since I was young my dream has been to create my own educational documentaries or to work for National Geographic. I've never had the chance to vacation, or visit another country as I come from a large family & my father passed away 3 years ago from cancer, it was during that period of grief that I created a " vision map" of my trip across Europe with hopes that I would one day be able to take the trip. I've visited every country on google earth, but I want to live it & feel it.

My goal in this trip is to practice my photography, writing and observation skills, and also find ways to volunteer along the way. My long term goal in life is to educate youth about the world through film. I envision my future documentaries to be half-fiction, half-reality using fictional characters & an engaging adventure plot, at the same time taking the viewers across the world learning real facts, history, geography and culture. My goal is to take a lot of photography and journal entries to build a online portfolio to try and get an entry level job with National Geographic. Although I've never had the chance to leave my country I have been able to travel all across Canada visiting many museums, science centers ect. I currently live in Montreal & last summer I went to all 50 of their museums. And when I lived in Toronto the year before that I went to 42 museums in one year as well as many educational tourist attractions. I'm very independent as I homeschooled grades 1-12. I know I can follow my career goals because I'm very driven, motive and get things done quickly. My trip to Europe has been thoroughly planned. The budget, intineray ect. I will prebook my stays at youth hostels and buy food at local grocery stores to save money. Right now I am currently getting paid a small amount to learn French( the first language in MTL quebec) and studying geography on my smartphone. After a year studying French my goal is to find an interesting job so I can save for my trip. Right now that looks so far away because I can't even afford a laptop or computer. But tbh I'm content with my smartphone lightweight & portable. I also forgot to mbmenti that I'm a minimalist, everything I own fits in two suitcases. Im trying to prepare myself for my dream voyage and with less stuff I have nothing holding me back from going. Please consider my story to help me get the gears in motion towards my career to educate, and inspire through engaging documentruesd.
