Hello! This summer I will be spending 7 weeks in Greece attending archaeological field school and volunteering at two excavations. I have never attended a field school or been lucky enough to work on an excavation before, and this is my first time travelling to Greece and working with archaeologists. Field school is similar to an internship and is a necessary part of an archaeologist's education. It combines career experience with education as well as cultural interaction with local communities. I am very excited to accept these two amazing opportunities but I am looking for help funding my education. International travel is expensive, and I also have to pay a course fee since I am gaining college credit for my majors, which are classical archaeology and anthropology. Please help me fund my education abroad this summer! It will provide me with useful skills and experience that I will need for my future career as an archaeologist, and I will be able to explore Greek history and culture. I've always been fascinated with ancient Greece and now I have a chance to learn about it first-hand. Thank you for any assistance you can give me!
