I will be starting the pre-vet program fall of 2017 at Baker college. Having this experience in South Africa will give me hands on knowledge about animal feeding, health, husbandry and how to run an animal reserve. My main goal is to specialize in large animals; with the Living with the Big Cats program I'll be bettering the lives and being around tigers, lions, cheetahs, and even other animals like elephants and giraffes!! This would be a perfect kick start to my future/dream career.

This program is meant to not just teach people like me but to help the injured and orphaned animals that now have a home at this sanctuary. 

I choose this program and location because I've heard nothing but good reviews about it and it's known to be safe, which is obviously very important to me if I'm going out of the country. 

It would mean the world to me to be able to go, even though I'll only being going for a week, it's a start to my traveling and animal saving dream!
