Hi,
I'm Senkathirvanan, postgraduate student in Climate Change and Sustainablity Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India. Travel makes one's life more informative than any classrooms can teach. While, it can be in various forms, it's the mountain peak that demands you a lot both physically and mentally. It oughts to see your naked soul, without any barriers.
In recent years, the number of major natural world heritage sites are at risk and the credit goes to Climate Change, one of the most worried topic of this century. The Kilimanjaro, highest peak of African Continent is also undoubtedly a victim of this phenomena.
While there are many peaks around the world to climb, the reason for me to choose Kilimanjaro is it's speciality of being the world's most diversified peak (Natgeo explains it by : Climbing Kilimanjaro is like walking from the equator to the North Pole in a week).
Being a geographical wonder & the victim of Climate Change, summiting Kilimanjaro soon is all in my thoughts. But, it'll take many years for me with my financial background. So, it would be a great support if I could get financial aid. This trip for me is more than just an adventure, it will be a great help to my current field of study and lastly taking my photography to the next level.. LoL..!!
Thanks in advance if you are interested in donating for my trip, and ofcourse thank you for reading my travel story.
