I am a recent graduate from Florida International University. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Art in Art. Being an artist and working with children have been two of my greatest passions, and while in school I had several opportunities to combine the two, showing how therapeutic art can be for the youth. My goal has always been to make no child feel restricted, but free to express themselves to their upmost ability creatively like I was able to. I chose to intern in London because it is like an artistic playground, and I plan on shadowing an artist, while gaining hands on knowledge and advancing my own art as well. This opportunity would be a major advancement in my career as an artist, and I would get to see many historic and iconic artworks up close and personal, which would be a dream come true. I want to bring my amazing experiences from this internship back home and use them to inspire young kids, and be a walking testimony that art is not a waste of time. It can be just as fruitful and rewarding as any other profession, so pursue your dream!
