My Travel Story

Who we are
There was me and there was her. We were two different people on the same journey to Santiago de Compostela. Our lives were brought together by one way that we each accomplished separately. And when two people are brought together, something arises. In our case, it was a unique and extraordinary friendship. We share the passion for traveling and experiencing life.

We are ready to face the challenges on our journey, we want to experience humble life and learn the customs and traditions of other nationalities. We believe this is a great opportunity not only for us. We are sure that we have a lot to offer too. We have a lot of skills and experience in our fields and we are willing to share them. We also want to share our culture with the World.

Our mission
And so we have decided to come to terms with a completely different life. Because we were both interested in exotic places we chose to go to Asia. In addition, we have been thinking about how to help where it is really needed. We believe that education gives us the freedom of choice. That's why we decided to go to Lombok for 3 months to teach local children not only English but also to develop their critical thinking, creativity and give them the opportunity to create their own future.

Our work for the following three months is to teach English with a focus on tourism for secondary school graduates. We will also organize a school club for school-aged children. Given that this is volunteering, it will cost us a lot of money. Natalie is a student of Masaryk University and for me it means spending all the savings I've saved for the past 3 years. That's why we decided to try to ask others for help. All donations will be used for expenses connected with traveling and teaching. Upon arrival, we plan to organize lectures about our journey and other practical projects. As I am interested in writing, our work will be monitored on my blog lukaszajicek.cz

Kdo jsme
Já jsem cestovatel a ona taky. Naše osudy svedla dohromady jedna cesta, kterou jsme každý absolvovali zvlášť.  A když dva lidi něco svede dohromady, něco vznikne. U nás vznikla společná touha poznávat svět a život. A tak jsme se rozhodli vydat se vstříc poznání absolutně jiného života. Jelikož nás oba lákala exotika, vybrali jsme Asii. Navíc jsme už dlouho přemýšleli, jak pomoci tam, kde je skutečně potřeba. Věříme, že vzdělání nám dává možnost volby. Proto jsme se rozhodli odjet na 3 měsíce na Lombok učit místní děti nejen angličtinu, ale také rozvíjet jejich kritické myšlení , kreativitu a poskytnout jim možnost zvolit si vlastní budoucnost.

Naše mise
Náplň naši práce bude výuka angličtiny se zaměřením na cestovní ruch pro absolventy středních škol na méně turisty frekventovaném místě, na ostrově Lombok. Dále budeme organizovat zájmové kroužky pro děti školního věku.Vzhledem k tomu, že se jedná o dobrovolnictví, bude nás to stát hodně peněz. Natálka stále studuje na vysoké škole a pro mě to znamená utracení veškerých úspor, které jsem našetřil za poslední 3 roky. Proto jsme se rozhodli zkusit požádat ostatní o pomoc. Veškeré finanční prostředky budou použity na náklady spojené s vycestováním a výukou. Po návratu máme v plánu udělat veřejné povídání o naší cestě a další praktické projekty.
