My Travel Story

I am an interior design student at Kirkwood Community college in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have been provided an opportunity to experience design first hand as well as to expand my resume. Kirkwood is providing a study abroad program to take design and art students through the major cities of Italy. We will arrive in Rome on June 18th and stay for 4 nights, followed by 3 nights in Florence, ending with 2 nights in Venice. Included in this trip are two day excursions to Pisa and Pompeii. I feel that taking this opportunity is something I should not pass up. This experience would not only expand my knowledge and already existing appreciation for design/architecture, but with this on my resume it would set me apart from others when interviewing after I graduate in the spring. Any donation will help me achieve my goal of being part of this once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for your consideration.
