My Travel Story

Hi! My name is Karen Veraza and I recently got accepted to Queen's University of Belfast for a Master's in Anthropology. I currently live in the US and I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to study in the UK (it has been a dream of mine since I was a child). 

A little bit of background on myself: I finished my Bachelor's degree in Political Science two years ago, and have since been working full-time. I decided to continue my studies in Anthropology because my two passions in life are traveling and experiencing new cultures, which I suppose are linked to each other. An education in Anthropology will allow me to gain more insight in how cultures develop and how people shape them or are shaped by them. 

What better way to start my education about cultures than by immersing myself in a new one to complete my Masters degree? I really hope you can help me fund this new adventure, any amount that you have to spare is greatly appreciated!

  • End Date

    So, for some reason I cannot change my end date, but the end date for my campaign is September 1st, 2017! Not March of next year.
