My Travel Story

I have never left the country before and feel that there is an incredible world of opportunity overseas. I am majoring in Journalism Strategic Communication with a minor in Sociology. I am also working to earn my Multicultral Certificate.  I feel that first hand observation of a culture as rich as Italy's will help me to have a more thorough undrestanding of my many interest areas. 

I have been working two jobs throughout high school and college at an average of 30 hours a week in an effort to save money for this trip. It will be completley self-financed between my savings, scholarship efforts, and student loans. For this reason, I am reaching out for financial assistence. Ideally, I would like to take out the least amount of loans as possible for this trip as I already pay for a majority of my college education. 

I will write an online blog throughout my trip in order to update everyone on my discoveries and experiences.
