My Travel Story

I'm a Registered Nurse and Public Health graduate hoping to gain some international nursing/healthcare experience while helping others.

I plan to travel through South America for a month volenteering when I can at hospitals and gaining knowledge and experience on the healthcare and environmental issues within that continent. I have book into a Global Nursing and Healthcare conference in Sao Paulo to begin with where I will network with fellow healthcare workers from across the world. I will also meet up with people I know alone the way who live there and can help to offer some knowledge and views.

My final destination will be in Germany where I will hpe to work as a Nurse. Germany is one of the leading countries in healthcare and i hope to gain some knowledge and experence by working within that healthcare system. German like many countries have a shortage of nurses due to the aging population. Unfortunatly I will need to be able to speak at a level of B2 German to be able to Nurse there. I have been studying German while in Australia although I will be hopeing to attend some German intensive courses once I get there. 

I hope to help share my knowledge and expereince from working in Australia while gaining global nusing experiences. I one day hope to work within international healthcare.
