volunteering in a rescue animal sanctuary in Costa Rica
My Travel Story
I am going on a 3 week volunteer trip to a rescue animal sanctuary in Costa Rica in march 2017
The Costa Rica Animal Rescue Centre and Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife rescue facility focusing on the care, rehabilitation and study of Costa Rican wildlife. Although they work with the government they do not receive governmental support. They rely on the membership programme, private donations and international volunteers for their contribution to this amazing project.
i did a volunteer trip in sri lanka a few years ago and wanted to do something similar. i chose here as i am interested to work closely with animals such as primates and sloths.
