This summer I will be volunteering with World Vets in Grenada, Nicaragua. This trip will allow me to improve my veterinary skills as well as help the local community. World Vets has a training center in Grenada equipped with all the equipment required to safely perform spays and neuter on local dogs and cats free of charge. As a second year veterinary student, I will be performing spays and neuters and participating in communimty outreach. During the community outreach day, I will be providing free vaccinations, deworming, and basic treatments for local dogs, cats, and horses.

The mission of World Vets, a nonprofit organization, is to to improve the health and well being of animals by providing veterinary aid and training in developing countries and by providing disaster relief worldwide.

I am extremely excited for this opportunity to grow, learn, and help others! Any amount of support will be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you have any questions.
