The Project/ Le projet

It has become a tradition at EPFL for many years, a study travel is organized through the IC Faculty. Thanks to the students association, the CLIC, an organisation committee is charged to put in place this travel for the futur graduaded of the 2018 promotion. The trip takes place from September 5 to 11 2016.

C’est une tradition à l’EPFL depuis bien des années, un voyage d’études est organisé grâce à la faculté IC. A travers l’association des étudiants, la CLIC, un comité d’organisation se charge de mettre en place ce voyage pour les futurs diplômés de la promotion 2018. Nous partirons donc du 5 au 11 septembre 2016 sur le sol américain.


The Destination/ La destination
The students voted for the West part of the USA for this travel. Thus, we will go to San Francisco and its region, including its famous Silicon Valley.

Les étudiants ont plébiscité l'ouest américain pour ce voyage. Ainsi nous nous rendrons à San Francisco et sa région, dont la fameuse Silicon Valley.

The School of Computer and Communication Sciences IC is one of the main European centers for education and research in the field of Information Technology. From algorithms to networks, from artificial intelligence to security, the research domains are very diversified. Divided into two teaching Sections, Computer Science and Communication Systems, the school count more that 900 students in Bachelor or Master degrees.

La faculté Informatique et Communication, IC, est l’un des principaux centres européens en matière d’enseignement et de recherche dans le domaine de la technologie de l’information. De l’algorithmique aux réseaux, de l’intelligence artificielle à la sécurité, les domaines de recherche sont très diversifiés. Comprenant deux sections, Informatique et Systèmes de Communication, celle-ci regroupe plus de 900 étudiants en Bachelor ou Master.

    With it's homemade cookies and Ginger Bread and Biscuit etc.., the Christmas market was a real success! (thanks to the Batman and Superman shaped biscuit!! ).
    We were thrilled by the harvested money but for 58 people we still need more. That's why we need you and thanks in advance.

    Le marché de Noël a suivi le soupé de faculté.
    C'est la période et rien de mieux que des biscuits et cookies fait maison!! La marchandise proposée à sévit un énorme succès et nous nous en sommes réjouis mais toujours est il que nous sommes loin du compte...

    Hi every one, here is the first update of our campaign, there will be more so that you can follow our journey! ;)

    The first organised event in order to gain some financial support was the faculty dinner. It was a success as always, students and teachers having a good time!! It was also an opportunity to lunch our wine selling operation! There is still in store:

    Chers amis, voici une permière mise à jour de notre campagne. Nous esperons ainsi vous tenir au courant de notre périple.

    Le premier évement mis en place pour recolter des fonds était le souper de faculté. Traditionnellement un succes, cette année a été l'object d'un succès encore plus grand. Une bonne ambiance était au rendez-vous, activités funs au programme, etc..
    C'était aussi l'occasion de mettre à disposition du vin que nous vendons dans le but de financer le voyage.
