My Travel Story

Hey! I’m Kessya, a 4th-semester undergraduate from Indonesia, currently studying International Relations with a huge love for design. I’m raising funds to join a study abroad program in Australia, and honestly, this opportunity feels like the perfect blend of everything I’ve been working toward: creativity, culture, and growth.
Even though I’m majoring in IR, design has always been my passion. From UI/UX to graphic design, I’ve been freelancing and working with different companies, using visual design to communicate big ideas. Studying abroad in Australia would give me the chance to explore design on a global level to learn new trends, collaborate with creatives from different backgrounds, and gain inspiration from one of the most vibrant design scenes out there.
This isn’t just about me getting to travel (even though yes, that’s super exciting too). It’s about taking everything I learn and giving it back to my community, to other young designers trying to find their path, and to the projects I care deeply about. I want to come back with new skills, fresh energy, and a wider perspective that I can pour into my creative work.
Why Australia? Besides its top-notch universities, it’s a creative hub full of diverse voices and innovative thinking. Being in that kind of environment would push me to grow both as a designer and a person. It would mean the world to experience that firsthand.
