Big Cat Sanctuary Volunteering - Saving Endangered Animals!
My Travel Story
This is an amazing volunteering experience which makes a huge difference to all of the animals living at the Glen Afric reservation in South Africa.
The main animals volunteers work with are lions, tigers, cheetahs, and leopards, however the reservation also cares for giraffes, zebras, hyenas, eus and hippos, among others. Some of these animals are going extinct, so any help from volunteers and those working on the reservations is helping to preserve these wonderful species'.
Volunteers help look after the animals that are unwell, help with their social development, and work on the reservation, such as weeding and cleaning the animals' areas, building roads and helping feed the animals.
