My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Sandy Valles and I'm 20 years-old. I study at Imperial Valley College, and my major is Criminal Justice. I will like to obtain this opportunity of traveling another country in which I can increase my knowledge, have new experiences, and learn another language. I am a bilingual person, I speak English and Spanish, and it seems to me that the two languages are very useful where I want to go. I think it’s very important to know other places and obtain knowledge of their cultures, it can expand my knowledge by looking, touching, and experimenting. I will like to meet new people, and to know how their lives are different than mine. Also, I will like to have the opportunity of learning about myself, by living in another country that is very different from mine, and be able to rethink my values, beliefs, and points of view. All this can impact my major by having more concept about it, and seeing how the function of system it's different from mine. I choose all these destinations, because they caught my attention. They all have a lot of history to learn about, many things to see, museums to observe and learn, beautiful views, etc. This is so meaningful to me because, I will like to dedicate my studies to 100% , live with another person, to have new opportunities in life, and the most important one is to live in another place.
