Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and taking an interest in my story.

I have been fortunate to have been offered an incredible opportunity to volunteer on a mental health placement in Sri Lanka for 4 weeks.

My role will include working at a psychiatric facility and rehabilitation centre. I will also be getting hands on experience working with special needs children and individuals suffering with mental health issues.

I'll also get to work on various other projects too, so I will have the opportunity to use my skills in other areas and really apply my knowledge in a less traditional way.

I hope this experience will not only be rewarding for me but leave a life changing positive impact on the lives of those I will be working with.

This work is voluntary so I am currently trying to raise money to fund the placement fees and resources I will need for the various projects whilst out of country.
