My Travel Story

I have always been so passionate about the ocean and marine life. Unfortunately, so many of the underwater ecosystems are currently being threatened by rising ocean temperatures and human activity. I want to do whatever I can to try and help, and I hope through my trip to gain the knowledge and experience that will allow me to pursue a professional career working for a non-profit focused on marine conservation. I am also dying to see a pristine reef like the one on Mafia Island that we will be studying, because the sad truth is that soon we may not have mny of these left. This opportunity is incredibly life-changing for me, and as a university student I am working 6 days a week on top of taking courses in order to afford it. It is definitely worth it though, because I have never been more excited for anything in my life!!!
