My Travel Story

I am part of an organization called GIVE Volunteers. Through sustainable projects we help foster opportunity for those held back by their circumstances and we engage in global citizenry to break down cultural barriers. We all believe that every person has the ability to be a root of change in this glorious world.

Our projects promote empowering local communities through projects that foster self-sufficiency. We build lifelong friendships with people in other countries expanding our knowledge of the world. And after we've gone we continue to ignite social development and empowerment.

I graduate in May and my purpose in life is to help others. I believe I am meant to offer what I have been given by luck of being born in America to those who have less materialistically but so much to offer as an individual. I plan to take my ability to help abroad to multiple countries this upcoming summer but need some help to do that. Money can be a powerful tool or a powerful barrier; BUT every cent goes towards funding these life changing projects. Building wells, schools, libraries, playgrounds and teaching English classes are some of the results of these funds. We help the community build what it needs.

I would love your help to reach my goal so that I can empower others to reach for the stars and reach for their dreams. April 21 is my deadline to pay for this volunteer trip and I know it possible. Any support you can offer will mean the world to me, and to people you don't even know who love you and thank you. I will be forever grateful to each one of you for helping me to follow my passion of giving to others.
