My Travel Story

Hey there, thanks for stopping by my campaign!

My name is Tez Wu and I'm British citizen (born in the UK), with a full Chinese background (both of my parents are originally from Hong Kong). I'm a born and bred Brummy! 

I've seen it all in the UK. Growing up in a Western community, an education in an all Western school and looking Chinese had its many advantages and disadvantages. I would NOT change it for the world. However, when you stay in one place so much it makes you realise that theres more to life.

Over the years I have visited Hong Kong several times. The most recent occasion I simply didn't want to come home. I learnt so much from being out there, whether that was getting familiar with my second language, to just finding new places to shoot and document for my website. It was a clear sign to me that the 'normal' life wasn't to be and I needed to find a way to escape that, and to create a new one - in a creative way. 

Why do I want to travel the world? I'm a keen self-taught photographer. I have good eye for anything visually. Having the opportunity to visit other destinations will only create more inpsiration for photography and online media to share with the world. I'm not going to give the sob story, afterall, we all want to do the things we dream of in life. This is a simply a platform for me to share similar ideas, encourage people to do the same. Collaborating with a variety of people, businesses, photographers, musicians, artists and anyone in between along the way is what I'm completely open to, get in touch!

My vision is to travel different countries, experience the culture shocks and document them as I go a long. I'm hoping this will encourage people to step out of the their 'normal life' they might find themselves stuck in and to go out see the world. We all only live once, start ticking your own boxes!
