My Travel Story

My name is Ella, and I'm currently 15 years old. I am planning to pursue a career in medicine in the future and GapMedics gives an amazing opportunity to travel to Warsaw, Poland for two weeks in July 2018. This is an organisation that allows aspiring medical students, like me, to undertake invaluable work experience in countries with less developed healthcare than the UK. Gap Medics allows for hands on, once in a lifetime experiences that exposes you to the world of medicine in wards, theatres and a community environment. The trip comes at a large cost along with a donation to the hospital I will be going to. I will be arranging events to raise this money include bake sales, raffles and a sponsored swim.
