My Travel Story

by: Ishaan Haddock Start Date: Oct 2, 2017 - End Date: Nov 17, 2017
I was born in a small city of India but presently I am pursuing International Relations and Politics from UK. I am presently based in Leicester. I am 18 years old but I have been to more than 100+ conferences and debates. My journey of speaking started when I was 11 as realised that alot of things in my country is still needed to be done. That day I really did swear under the name of Earth that I will try my level best not to fulfill my needs but I will work hard to do something for this globe. I dont want to live for 100 years but I really want to do something that after next 100 years everyone could have a life on earth. iw as never good in education when I was in School. My High School education at Radiant International School has provided me with a strong and comprehensive background in Debating which is a necessity in my field of education. The curriculum we study didn’t include all the basic courses. But this School has provided me a platform to show my talent in speaking and writing. International relations is the study of an international system composed of territorial states which acknowledge no superior authority over matters which they consider of vital interest. I am very good in making relations. Today at the age of 18 I have friends from 65+ different nations. It was said a few years ago that if the human race is wiped out in the next 50 years it will not be because of disease or an asteroid hitting the earth, but because of foreign policy and international relations. In a world where thousands of nuclear weapons exist and more countries are trying to acquire them, where suicide terrorist strikes come without warning and thousands die each day from poverty caused by the way the international system operates, we need to know about and understand international relations.

To do something for this Globe I was recruited at China for an Internship of AIESEC. I was working for Gender Equality and Quality Education. There are a lot of Agendas where discussions are needed. One day I will be a diplomat and will raise those issues at International Forums.

There is no "ideal" type of international relations student. Many issues may inspire your interest in international relations. We may have studied politics or citizenship, history, geography, or sociology for example. We might even be studying science and have now changed direction. You do not need to have the answers to the world's problems, such as terrorism, nuclear proliferation, debt, climate change, bird flu, and Aids. But we may have lots of questions. And to solve those problems I will be a Diplomat. The one and only reason for me to choose UK is because great Indian Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru went to UK for their higher Studies. I want to be like them. And choosing England is only because it has most of the best renowned University in this Globe. I will get a lot of exposure and will learn a lot. I can be a good decision maker in Future if I attend thins conference. I dont only want to put my point their will thousands of people I can learn more things over their and this will help me to make a positive change in the society.
As mentioned before that I would be able to earn alot as this conference will focus on law and order, justice, International relations and politics. And the agandas of the conference make me more addictive towards it.
This conference will help me to learn alot of things and will really be helpful for my further conferences. I have already worked in this sector.
If needed you can have a small interview to check my efficiency.
I, therefore, look forward for your response
