Hey guys!

So as many of you know, I will be graduating from UW-Stevens Point this May and it has always been my dream to travel the world. I will be heading to South America on June 3rd to volunteer in a variety of different programs in many different countries and I need your help. 

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for me and I would greatly appreciate your support! As an international studies major and Spanish minor, I want to gain professional experience working in childrens orphanages and rural communities. Any amount goes a long way, and I will never forget your generosity while I try to make the world a better place.

Here is a list of my tentative destinations and the volunteer work involved:

Sogamoso, Colombia - Photography Project for a NGO
Guatape, Colombia - Elementary School Teaching Assistant
Medellin, Colombia - English Teacher & Permaculture Hostel

The other destinations will be determined later. My goal is to travel the exterior of South America in order to hit most of the countries in the most efficient way possible.

For those of you who are thinking, "Hey, I want something out of this too. Not just the warm, tingly feeling of being a good person", I have a reward system that might be more persuasive. My goal amount covers the general costs of getting from Bogota and to my first destination comfortably.

Reward System

Bronze Level ($5): A shoutout on my blog and the best high five/hug you've ever had.
Silver Level ($20): The neatest postcard I can find along with previous rewards.
Gold Level ($50): A souvenir from any given country along with previous rewards.
Platinum Level ($100): I will literally print a picture of your face, glue it to a popsicle stick and drag you around with me, taking pictures with you at scenic destinations. I will also print photographs from my excursions and send them to you directly. Oh, and of course, all of the previous rewards.
