I am a former English teacher turned Travel Guide. You can learn a lot more by traveling than sitting in a classroom reading a book about some place you may never go to. So, my goal is to read about the places, and then go to them. This would make schools more fun. Schools should travel once per week to some destination locally or once per month abroad. Most will say they do not have the money. Yes, they do OR just say you will fundraise it. Not only will students and teachers learn better, they will be more engaged with each other instead of teachers being perceived as an authority figure.
