My Travel Story

For me, joining National Geographic on a expedition would be the journey of a life time. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to travel the world and absorb all it has to offer. But everyone around me has called be crazy and said that I should just get a “normal job”. Like my dreams meant nothing to them. They say I have a lot to offer to the world, but yet they won’t let me express that. I know I have a lot to offer to world. I may not be an absolute genius (who is really), but I have a passion that most crave, and a drive that flusters most. I know I was born to do something, and that something isn’t sitting behind a desk and filling out paperwork, it’s exploring the world, and capturing moments on camera. Moments that would otherwise be lost, for no one to remember. I know I can contribute a lot to National Geographic Expeditions. A lot more than I am writing here. All I am asking for is a chance, a chance and the opportunity to travel to places that I have dreamt about since I was young.
